Here are some of the pics for the night..unedited from my OP (LampuStudio)..there are thousands of them but i managed to take my ownnnnnnn sweet time to choose which to put here..so enjoy..

The canopy from NSJ..really love transparent canopy and the chiavary chairs..i have been dreaming to have chiavary chairs for my wedding..it creates a mood and serene environment. im glad that im able to have it at least for my solemnization..

My dress for the night..by Unaisah..love it..a simple baju kurung moden which i requested the baju to be slightly shorther and the kain extra flowy..with the heavy chiffon i bought at Jakel, beaded n sequin lace i bought online..the result is so satisfactory..i purposely chose white color because i personally think the color is suci and pure and soooooo meant for nikah..i had thought for other colors as well such as peach,silver or soft blue but i know i can wear other colors in some other events but white...biarlah time nikah aje..

The beautiful make up by Kak Liza..so grateful that i hired her..sgt sgt puas hati..she's punctual..friendly..mekap sgt natural and i really lov what she did to my complexion..so flawless..and i lov the eyes too!!

For hantarans 11 dulang berbalas 11 dulang juga..my mum said its ok to balas with the same amout of dulang because tak wajip pun mende tuh..she also xmo dulang2 hantaran banyak sgt sbb nnti nampak messy..well i agreed..and my in laws pun x kisah..

Now lets look at some of the hantarans from me to him..the HUGO shirt and the Feragammo shoes were bought while i was in London..i just love Bicester..a lot of great discounted branded stuff there..the shirt way wayyyyy cheaper..and the shoes too....after VAT refund lgla murah..heheh..and as for the HUGO wallet i kirim thru a fren who happened to come back from the UK 1 day before my wedding..pun very good price jugak..

And from his side to me..

Love all of my hantarans and some of them i have been eyeing for so long.Like for the Fendi handbag i bought it during my trip to Paris..love the difference of the price compared to Malaysia..the D & G watch i bought during watch sale in KL..such a slash there on the discount..my mas kahwin (dowry) which was 3 pieces of dinar coin bought in Kelantan..my inlaws insisted to give me this..heheh..suke2..and the Manolo Hangisi,bought it from an Australian frens who bought it in the US..my dream to have that "something blue" for my wedding. ..finally..The telekung was from my sis in law bought while she went to Bandung. as for perfume, me and him bought together a few months before wedding..time sales jugak..

The event was of cor wasnt 100% perfect..ade hipcup here and there but it was almost the way i wanted hehehe..some of my besties did make it to the night..eventho it was Friday,working day and they had to go thru all the traffic jams to come to my house and celebrate the happiest night of my life..i really appreciate it.

Overall the events ended succesfully and me changed my status to Mrs..seriously i could not believe that i actually got married that night..rase mcm mimpi aje...

But i did enjoy my solemnization night..the night that i can never forget..Insyaallah..for those B2B out there..plan sebaik-baiknye malam nikah anda because even in 5-10 years to come..u can still picture them and think of it as the best moment in your life..Insyaallah..

My Wedding Ring Review-Part 2

After my merisik, it was long enough for us to find our own sweet time for my engagement ring..we had almost 4 months to decide..

much influenced by my friend a.k.a colleague, Alia she was the one who actually opened my 2 eyes about the world of diamonds. before this i did not really pay attention about the 4c's and whatnot because i was paying my attention to something else for my engagement and bigger..my wedding!

haha..somehow i managed to get something that i REALLYYY love for my engagement ring..

Its from Love & Co.

I really like this brand..

But i admit its a bit expensive if u compare the same 4c's at other jewellery shop.

Its a .19 carat..pretty small ehh but okla for tunang..hihi

Yeah i know i bought my wedding ring at the so last minute..like 1 day before??

hehe..maybe becos im not really into "wedding ring" u know..i dont really mind as long as i will hv one..

i think that can justify for the delay of purchasing it..

Hmm..lets recap.

He bought me a ring for my merisik... Its from GOLDHEART...Actually merisik ni tak payah cincin pun kan.or sstgh org panggil cincin tanda..whateva la..org dh nk bg aku amek jela hihii..
Before that i dont really think about "the ring" until we went for ring hunting..masuk je kedai expecially kalau SA tu pandai goreng sket je confirm cair. Mase tu all the 4C's tak masuk kepala sgt..main hentam aje beli cincin merisik. So dapatla cincin ni:

It is a Platinum+Sterling called Platim plus small diamonds..okla kan for merisik..This ring was bought i think seminggu dua before merisik.kira awal la tuh.

Next is for my engagement.. Kali ni nak up sket..konon2 dah tau sket psl diamonds and all padahal still blur2 lg bile SA tu dok explain.hehehe..

So went ring hunting again at MidValley..x larat nk g bnyk2 tempat..

Went to Habib, Selberan,Diamond & Platinum, Poh Kong, and so many2 more sampai nk muntah tgk kedai emas..

Move Out to Move In

Hi allssss,

Last weekend i said goodbye to my parents house since i am moving out..

Bcos im moving in!!!to my hubby's houseeeeeeee..

Actually berdebar2 jugak ni.Kinda nervous to live just by ourselves. Everything berkongsi bersama.

Right now we are staying at Damansara Perdana. Love the area..so close with everything..
Especially IKEA, Tesco, Hartamas,OU,The Curve.hihii..

Can see that my shoppping spree for my wardrobe and my house will be much more convenient hihiihiiiiiii..

KL pun x jauh sgt. at least i dont have to travel far to work.

We are planning to but another property at the same area. Because currently the house that we are staying at is a bit small..but we'll see how it goes lah

Penang Reception..

SO tired..

Just went back from penang from my husband's reception..Alhamdulillah the event went well..with the help of my sisters in law,they managed to organize such a smooth event..

Now am still living at my parents' house. We want to wait until all events is settle then we may want to start moving to Nik's house.

Cant wait to blog on my wedding vendors, my last minute preparation experience.my wedding dress..flowerssss..catering..yadaa yadaa yadaa..arrghhh can't find the time.

I really hope i can start writing before all the memories fade off.. (blom menganggap diri ini sbg pengantin lama yet!)

Laces 2nd Batch & Review on Textile Shop

can u believe it my family members dah start sibuk buat baju bersempena ngn my wedding and yours truly herself blh buat her wedding dress pn lg??

crazy rite..

but what to do...time constraint laaaa

and my 2nd batch of laces baru arrive so baru sedap sket nk pg cari other fabrics well to be specific chiffon and the lining..

and after sedikit research at a few top kedai tekstil kt KL ni..heres what i found out:

GULATIS/EUROMODA- this is normally where i bought my chiffon,sbb ade satu cawangan kt Ampang so senang hehehe.harga standard la..ade from yg rendah to mahai smpai beratus semeter. kualiti standard gak,option wise consider bnyak pilihan la..pilih sajaaa

BINWANIS- tak bnyk choice for sure..why?because i think they are so exclusive.. semua kain pun macam limited jee.kualiti mmg baekkkk..tp harga tinggi sket dr average chiffon di luar sana.

MAYA-mmm cawangan Jln TAr pun i normally used to buy there mase harga chiffon die agak murah sket compared to other shop. Sampai SA die pun dah kenal muke ni..heheh..Tp skrg dh naik harga so i dont buy there anymore.harga chiffon die letak satu harga je.walaupun lain2 jenis..i used to buy at rm24 per meter now dah naik rm35 kot rasenye.lagi satu kedai die a bit sempitla..mcm limited space to move around gitu.

JAKEL- nama yg dah makin besar skrg..i used to go to the one in Jln TAR and rase biase2 je tp bile pg cawangan Shah Alam definitely lebih bnyk choice. and i was tertarik at this one type of satin called pearl dull satin. Perfect for lining utk chiffon. of kos the best lining for chiffon would be crepe type tp harga mmg consider expensive la so pearl dull satin ni the best subtitute sbb mmg xde effect kilat2 kat chiffon.matte je..harga plak sgt murah okayyyy..i wont say JAKEL has the best quality but in terms of choices mmg dorang bnyk lg.

KAMDAR-mmg murah gile chiffon die tp of kos beza sgt2 la compared to kedai2 di atas..tp alaa lakau just saje nk beli sbb mmg nk ade efek kain chiffon blh je beli..price range from rm5 - rm15 semeter.Pilihan consider bolela tp x bnyk sgt.

NAGOYA-lebih kurang sama mcm KAMDAR tp pilihan mmg limited sgt..and kualiti kurengla sket.i notice chiffon jenis cmni bnyk digunakan utk baju kurung chiffon yg dh siap.

so far tu jelah..ape2 pun statement di atas is based on my own judgement yaaa..might be different for others.

so i can brings my laces and jalan2 di JAKEL utk get my wedding dress fabric!yahooooo

Raya and Wedding

Tomorrow is RAYA! yeayyy.

eventho bnyk desas desus expecially from my chinese ofismate saying that besok x mungkin raya because in kalendar cina tonight xde bulan!..hehehe..but alhamdulillah ternyta mereka silap..kalendar mereka silap.heheh

well..to me this year punye raya is sama mcm tahun2 sudah..tahun ni x dpt puasa lebih dr 10 hari..tensennn..mampus aku nk menggantinyeee.

anyway this year ade lain sket sbb its the last year im gonna celebrate it as a single lady.hmm sedihla plakk..rase mcm sebak smcm je..sudah semestinye sambutan selepas ni dah x sama kan?oh sebak!

my wedding is actually less than 2 months away...everything has been planned cume few saje yg blh dpt dicompletekan due to time constraint.. thats one of the reason also for the lack of updates..sempat baca blog org je..blog sndiri terabai..now i know sgt susah sbnrnye utk buat preparation wedding sambil bekerja..tu lah..nk bagi org lain handle mmg susah sket nk percaya.so sudahnye mmg sume buat sndiri...

so many things to update selama dalam bulan puasa ni..i did my SPA treat and also facial as part of my wedding preparation...ade best and ade x best..but so far 80% of what i planned went smoothly..lg 20% tu biasela..kite hanya merancang tuhan yg maha menentukan..

hmm..ape lg nk tulis ek,i think that's all for now. nnti sambung lg..got lots to share..

Not So Great Wedding

Last few weeks I went to my parents's friend's son wedding. Turned out that they also a a close relatives of my fiance's father. (errr get it?) hehehe.. I was really looking forward for to attending that particular wedding because it was held at my soon-to-be wedding venue!

But arrgghhhhh..

To me it was almost a disaster!

Number 1, the food was tasteless! I dont think it was cooked enough and the sayur still rase keras because mentah lg and the masak lemak santannye macam x cukup masak!

Number 2, the food presentation die fail! It was so not presentable dari segi arrangement and decoration k! So serabut like that. Sudu garfu just simply letak atas meja buffet without even ade piring nak alas. The dessert just simply letak atas aluminium foil and then terus letak atas meja. What the heck? Xde seni langsung. Even tempat nak amek minuman pun x sesuai langsung.

Number 3, keadaan dalam tempat tu sungguh kelam kabut. Makanan keep on x cukup and the waiter keep on kluar masuk dok tambah makanan (tp makanan asyik x cukup gak) menjadikan situasi sgt serabut. Ohhh nightmare!

Number 4, the dais actually cukup cantik dah. In fact I mcm ade teringin nk buat pelamin ala2 cmtu. Tapi i dont know what's wrong about the dais that it looked so macam nk roboh. And somehow it was positioned very very close to the guest. So menjadikan ruang sgt2 sempit. Pelamin cantik jadi dah x cantik.. Fail lg kt situ!

Number 5, the traffic controller that was supposed to take care of the vehicle coming in to the venue did not really do their job. Semua dok nak jage kat dalam so yg kat pintu masuk xde sape nk jage.So tetamu mcm terkial-kial la nk lawan traffic nk masuk venue wedding tu. So inconvenience to the guest.

So rata2 itulah die ketidakpuasan hati about the wedding. My biggest concern is of course is because i dont want my very own wedding to turn out like thattttt...tidaakkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.

Aiyakkk.cmne nih,my mum saje nk pyscho i cakap my sis punye wedding jauh lg cantikk..waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.tensen dah niiii.Die cakap kalau x sebab dah bayar deposit die nnk cancel wat situ..

Fuuhhh..so im carrying a BIG responsibility to prove that they r wrong.

Euro Trip-Geneva, Switzerland

Errr..not Paris....yet... Like i mentioned in my previous post.

After London part 1 yes we went to Paris via Eurostar but only as a stopover for our next journey to Geneva, Switzerland. Our initial plan was to visit Zurich, but it required another 3 additional hours from Paris making it 5 hours total compared to Geneva which only took 3 hours. I know my mum could not make it so we settled for Geneva. The train ticket was bought months earlier prior to our Euro trip.

From London we took Eurostar train at 5.25 am..The cold weather did not stop us from feeling really really excited to start our journey. After 2 hours and 20 minutes we reached Gare Du Nord Station. However we had to depart from Gare Du Lyon Station to take TGV-Lyria train to Geneva.

This is the part where I was a bit worried.

You know, we arrived at around 8.50am and our next train to Geneva leaves at 10.10am. So we have to travel from 1 train station to another within 2 hours only! I have all the information with me, but I was just being extra carefull just in case if we got lost or could not make it for the train and we were in a country where people barely speak English!

Hahaha.. but I got all I want from the net..Everything..from the route from Gare Du Nord to Gare Du Lyon...buy train or by taxi..how long is the estimated time..all of the information i found here..

Thank god we made it in fact we were so much earlier and have to wait almost 1 and a half hour for the train to leave to Geneva.

Another 3 hour journey bring us these beautiful views of lakes, mountains and farms..As mentioned in the website i provided earlier.."This 'new' line will take Paris-Geneva TGVs at low speed through some great mountainous terrain through some 11 tunnels and over 80 bridges & viaducts including the spectacular Cize-Bolozon Viaduct, a structure partly blown up by the French resistance in 1944 (it took 5 years to repair the damage after the war!). Sit back with a glass of red wine and enjoy the scenic stress-free alternative to flying to Geneva, past pretty French villages, mountain forests and scenic lakes"

err except the wine part..hahahaha.

And we arrive after 3 hours!waaaaaa so tiring..Here in Swiss, people also speak French as main language.

Got off the train..find the way of station and made our way to our hotel which is situated just across the train station. Hotel tu punyela betul2 depan station and punyela besao tp boleh x kami x nampak and habis pusing2 and tanye sane sini at last jmpe jugak..

Had our lunch dgn megi dulu utk alas perut..

Actually masa tgh sesat cari hotel, we asked direction from one of the kebab punye restaurant managed by org Turki./Arab x sure. My mum wanted to go back there sbb die kata mcm sedap.
So we went there and had our lunch.. Memangla org kata kat Swiss mahal.. yapp..mmg mahal..sekali makan sorang mau dekat rm100 gakla..itupun yg paling murah dah..

Even hotel pun mmg xde hotel cikai..kalau nk yg murah kene duduk jauh2 dari town,which is a bit hardla because i dont want to travel a lot around city.Kalau bole nk everything within walking distance je.So dptla hotel yg harga die mcm nk sama taraf hotel 5 bintang kt Msia ni..even kt sana 2-3 bintang je.

Oh forgot to mention that we changed our currency from pound to Swiss Franc dekat London gak..the exchange that time was around 3.45mcm tula. Even currency die rendah sket from France or London,tp harga barang die dah memang tinggi...so mmg mahaiiiii la senang citaaaa..

After makan we just walked around habiskan masa. Yg menarik dekat Swiss ni, all tourist diberi kelebihan memiliki Travel Card ni:

So buses,train,ferries..boat kaa...trams kaa..ape jenis transportation la..all tourist can use and enjoy them for FREE! yes FREE...but the card is provided by the hotel yg kite duduk,so kalau pg sane and x duduk hotel or tinggal umah kwn2 ke x trmsuk dlm advantage ini yee..

First day x gune lg transport die since we decided to just walk..weather was a bit warm compared to London or even Paris..especially tengahari. dah mcm Msia kot..

Some places that we able to visit were the Brunswick Monument.

The famous Lake Geneva walking distance from my hotel). Brought some souvenirs here like keychains,fride magnet and tshirt..as usual..hehehe

This time we took the trams..ape itu trams?alaaa keretapi yg ade rail die sndiri kt tgh2 jalan raya tuh..

Went to this church..x ingat name gak..banyak sgt church lama kt sana..

From one end to one end kami dok dlm tren tu..But we stopped at place called Plaine de Palais or the flea market where there sell almost EVERYTHING..

Yap not kidding you..dah mcm sampah pun ade..tmasuk baju,kain buruk pun ade,kasut buruk pun ade..antiques..furnitures,fabrics,household items..memang menarik sgt tgk mereka mengorek2 ape item yg nk dibeli.hehehe..ala2 mcm bundle sale la kan.."The largest outdoor flea market Geneva where locals go to hawk their old and often valuable ‘junk’, be it paintings, records, dish sets, antiques or vintage clothing. Tuesdays, Fridays and Sunday from 08:00 to 17:00"

Baju pengantin pun ade kotttt..

Selain itu, we went to the other part of the city by trams also..Saw this one giant sized of broken chair..It depicts a giant chair with a broken leg and stands across the street from the Palace of nations, in Geneva.It symbolises opposition to land mines and cluster bombs,and acts as a reminder to politicians and others visiting Geneva.

Before end of the day i went to H&M situated just beside my hotel and tried to find something for my fren. She kirim from me a few stuff since H&M website is on sale. But not in Swiss, in fact the price was waaaaayyy to expensive. So x jd beli.

Trip di Geneva berakhir disitu saje before we took our train back to Paris around late afternoon camtu.

We packed our stuff and bergamba dekat lif die..sbb ape?lif die sgt klasik mcm lift zaman dulu2..yg ade pagar before nak masuk tu..huhu

But before naik tren,saw this lovely bakery shop...

and stopped to buy this!

Euro Trip-London (Part 1)

Quick and short! So hard to find time to update my blog nowadays.

So me and my mother departed from KLIA with Gulf Air and transited in Bahrain. Kinda excited caused had a chance to step my foot in another country which is not included in my trip,nyeheheh.

But tak berpeluang nak kluar airport pun sbb transit for a few hours only. Bergambo jelah.

Time tu dah pukul 1 pagi kot..mata mcm dah naik lebam and bontot dah naik kematu dok dlm flight lama td....thank god the food served mcm sgt best! Ini adalah buat kudap-kudapan..Cheese Sandwich hokayyy tgh pagi2 buta tuuuu..

Pastu tido.. Bangun celik mata je breakfast is about to serve. I opted for this:

Sampai je terus naik tube pg my mum's fren's house as promised. Nak dijadikan cite sesat kooooooooo.. Citenye cmni,since my fiance pnh stay sane dulu, I just showed him the address but he overlooked and thought the house was in Queensway area.. mentang2 la kat alamat tu ade tulis Queen's Gate. So me and my mum pon time nk amek tube tu belila tiket ke Queensway punye station from Heathrow. kene tukar tren kot 2 kali sbb different route.sampai2 je, bile i called my mum's fren,rupenye bukan stesen tu daaaaa..kene patah blk because it should be another station instead, Glouchester Road (pronounced as Gloster"). Dahla orang kt sane semua naik tren mcm robot,nak cepat ajeee(mcm kt Msia gakla) me with heavy giant sized luggage. Rasa mcm nak patah kaki dan tangan ni mengangkut.

But at last sampai jugak. It was cold gak. Surprisingly because its almost summer supposedly. but i enjoyed the weather so much.After we had our lunch, we went jalan laaaaaaa..

JAKEL vs Online

Me and my mother went to Jakel in Shah Alam today. Never been there before all this while i only went to the one in Jln TAR.

Did not intend to buy anything. But it turned out that my parents is actually a good old fren of the Jakel's family when we used to live in Segamat. The 12 siblings,most of them still recognized my mother and they gave us such a good discount that I was thinking to buy my material there & then.

But I had my plan to still purchase my material online,from the website that I had buy before.. Love their stuff very much..And cheaper compared to Malaysia..excluding the shipping cost of course..

Hmm..should I buy in Jakel instead (next time when I go there)? Or should I stick to my plan to purchase online?

Yesterday we had our department dinner bersempena jugak dengan kejayaan one of my colleague Ms Nona utk diserap masuk secara permanent in my company.. We went to Market Hall.

I kept on tersasul ckp Market Place..adussss.. (if u know what Market Place is..hehe)

The complimentary roti with salsa dip..forgot the full name..

My Sister's Wedding

Suddenly it flashed back all the memories when i was 14, where i was a HUGE fans of late Lady Diana (and her son of course)..i bought all the magazines and book that i could get my hands on,as long that it had Diana's or Will's face on it.hahaha..those were the days..

And how I think half of this world were crazy over William..

Well..finally..he found his other half..

I wasnt really got myself updated with their stories actually..until recently when they got married..i realized how lucky Kate is..but not really lucky at the same time..from now on,everything that she does,she wears,she goes,bla bla bla will be in the middle of attention,especially for the paparazzi.

But..whatever it is..I somehow adore her style...she looks absolutely amazing in anything she has on her!

Banyak sungguh dugaan sebenarnye bile cerita bab kawen nih. Start dari nk pilih tarikh,pilih tempat,pilih tema,pilih baju,pilih kasut,etc etc ..sume kalau ikutkan hati nak aje fikir diri sendiri.

Tapi realitinye x.

Banyak hati harus dijaga.Pendapat harus diambil kira. Tak boleh buat keputusan ikut kepala sendiri. Tak boleh pakai idea kite sorang2..(eventho kalau nk difikirkan sape yg nk kawen..aku ke dorang???)

So far one of the reason why i cannot really proceed with the preparation for my wedding (selain drpd wedding my sis next month) is actually because i still could not confirm on the venue.

The venue that I originally wanted (X) mmg sangat sangat sangat bermasalah. Daripada tahun lepas aku dok tunggu sampai la ni x boleh nak confirm2 lg. So i made up my mind and decided to look somewhere else. X kuase aku nk menunggu mcm tunggu bulan jatuh ke riba. X kuaso den!

So that's why in my previous post i wrote about my visit to this place (Y). Actually mid of last year i already considered this place to be my wedding venue but PR dorang mase tu sangat hampeh.Email and call x pnh berjawap. Website,blog,facebook pun dibiarkan sepi. So i guess there's noway nak berurusan ngn org cmni, then i took off. Carik tempat lain.

I guess rezeki nk dpt tempat yg X ni pun mmg xde.So lately tjumpe this one blog yg nk buat wedding kt situ (Y). Ntah macamane tbuka pintu hati ni nk try lg sekali kt situ..And it turned out ok. The owner was quite ok and been really helpful. My fiance love it and i brought my mum for 2nd visit and she loved it too and from that moment i knew that is the place.

Bile dah discuss further ade 1 more lg jd penghalang. The date i want was already booked! I was so dissapointed.Previously u hv no idea how we had changed our date sooooooo many tiimes smpai aku jd menyampah nk pikir soal tarikh.Finally we came up and agreed with this 1 date.Lastly bile dah dpt tempat date lagi jd masalahnye. Dahla aku sudah book itu MUA..eiiiiii tensen tau!

Well,nk buat cmne org book tempat skrg ni 1 year in advance tau. Aku yg lambat.xle nk salahkan sape.So nak tak nk kene tukar tarikh lg if i still want the venue.

If u were in my place,sanggup x korang tukar tarikh because of the venue,considering that the venue is actually one of the biggest thing when it comes to a wedding. So aku kene tukar blk tarikh2 dimana aku dah ade booking vendors, MUA bagai....Fuhhhh

Sampai dahla lambat.Sebab last minit baru decide. Sampai2 aje trus order and then do what im good at..MAKAN!

And then seperti biase la..ber cam whoring sambil bergedik gedikan kt situ..silalah nikmati gamba2 yg kebanyakkan dtgnye dari hpku yg kelabu asap nih..

I can tell u when r staying with your parents your routine will become the same almost every single day.pg keje balik keje.malam dok umah.tak mcm time dok bujang dulu la..lain siottttt.

To be honest i miss those days...

Anyways..last 2 weekends i managed to attend 2 weddings. back to back dlm 2 hari. Hari sabtu tu x-kosmet punye wedding.ahadnye plak Mr NAZ's fren wedding.

Just nak kongsi with readers out there dalam few months lepas aku pg survey2 kad kawin dgn Mr NAZ dekat Jln Pasar. Mungkin tak ramai yg tau,dekat Jln Pasar ni bukannye femes sbb ade jual bnyk brg elektronik je tau...tp die pun ade kedai buat kak kawen yg melambak2 and murah2 dekat sane. Macam2 design mcm stail kad kawen skarg ek..bukan mcm zman dulu2..pakai kad biase je.,siap ade yg but sndiri lagik (like yours truly ni ade hangan2 nk buat kad kawen sndiri konon...harammmm)

Tapi dalam banyak2 tu aku mmg tertarik menarik dengan satu jeni kad ni la..to me it'sso creative..

My Poor Cat

Sedihnye yg tak terhingga dengan nasib si meoww yg sekor ni. This is the cat yg aku dah bela almost 7 months..Kucing betina..Actually jiran yang bagi. So since aku pun suke kucing ape lagi hamek jela.

Aku syg kucing ni sebab die baik sgt..Mule2 ingtkan die bisu sebab susah sgt nk dgr die berbunyi.Kalau sesekali dgr die mngeow tu mcm ajaib sgtlah.. Dahtu manja and adorablee gileee..ekornye yg panjang dan fluffy tu tsgtla comeyyy.

Tapi since die kucing betina challenge nye adalah kalau die branak,sape nk jage anak2 die..So ingat nk bawakla pg hospital utk kasi mandul sama die..Kucing2 jantan liar kat area rumah pun dah ramai dok usha die smpai x tenang kucingku itu.

Tapi aku salahkan ayah ku (hehe boleh x cmtu)..sbb die dok tangguh2 kan proses pemandulan kucing itu dan asyik biarkan kucing itu terlepas merayau -rayau. So bile dah nampak proses percubaan merogol berlaku,barula die nk hantar g hospital. Tapi kene tunggu pulak dah.. Seminggu sekali kene amik suntikan selama 3 kali before dapat buat operation pemandulan.

Dah cukup 3 minggu bapak aku pun bawakla g hospital, i was working that time. Sp time2 tgh keje mak aku msg lebih kurang berbunyi begini "Kucing tu dah dibelah tapi doktor jumpe 2 ekor anak kucing so xble operate"

I was like..

WHAT??????

Dah bunting ke kauuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!

I could not imagine cmne doktor belah kucing tu alih2 jumpe anak kucing kat dalam.. awwwwwww..dah tu kene tutup jahitan tu balik and kene tunggu pas kucing tu beranak baru boleh operate balik.

So si Molly (the cat's name,lupe nk bgtau) pun dibawa balik siap bertopi keliling leher and diberi bekalan ubat. Nampakla jahitan kt perut die..Warrghhhhhh kesiannnyeeeeeee..Dalam keadaan mamai2 sbb bius x abis lagi die cuba usaha nk tanggalkan topi tu. Last2 tertanggal jugak after 3 days. Tapi aku biarkan je sbb tak reti nk pakaikan balik and die pun x kacau2 luke jahitan tu.

Haduhh..haru biru kes kucing aku ni..patutnye bapak aku kurung aje tp die berkeras x bg kucing tu dikurung. Biar die bebas bergerak katenye..Tgkla akibatnyee..

Another make over..hmm not a really make over actually...but i was being made up but profisonal make up artist...so kire make over la tu kan..

I love bobbi brown cosmetics since i tried their two-way foundation that i was first brought in 2009. Ever since i have been using it and loving it. So when i saw this ad i was over the moon!

So last 2 weeks i went to Bobbi Bown in Pavilion with Alia, my officemate to experience it. The SA there was so helpful especially the photographer who let me took my photo a few times.hehe..

I know my wedding preparation currently is sooooo slowwwww..like nothing to story nothing to update..

Maybe its because when you are too excited about something,and you know that its still monthssss away..so you become macam...hmmm..how to say itt..lemauuuu kot..hahaha..takut kalau excited tlebih nanti bile time dah dekat rase hilang ke-excited-an tu..hihihi..

So i guess im trying to be slow and steady now..just browsing around and at the same time buat kira-kira..hahah..

Anyway last wiken at least ade jugak aktiviti berguna dilakukan utk mengurangkan lagi senarai yg perlu dibuat utk wedding ni. Me and Mr NAZ went for our kursus Pra-Perkahwinan. The one we went was at Masjid Negara. I wish i could have snapped some pics but.naadaaaaa..hehe..Seeing me wearing tudung for that 2 days event,my fiance was so excited about that..hehehe..

Well..to sum up about the kursus itself..i guess mmg patut sgt sume couple pg.i know some people have this thinking that mcm x pyh pg pun xpe,but personally..i think if u look deep down mmg kite ni kadang2 perlukan sume tu..we need some reminder in our life.. Tenaga penceramah boleh kata overall best..sume cukup..lawak ade,serius ade,sedih ade..

So i u guys ask me mane nak pg utk Kursus Kahwin..Masjid Negara is highly recommended!

Food Testing

Yap. Last week me and my almost whole of a family went to our first food testing..for the wedding.

My wedding?hahaha nooooo..its for my sis..Didnt i tell u that shes getting married first?hehe...

Anway we were satisfied with the food and deposit has been paid..its just that ade few issues x brape bkenan..bnyak sgt hidden charges.Dah last minute time we all dah confirm baru kluar hidden charges tu..ape laaa..but the officer punye PR mmg undeniably mmg superb la,.rajin je layan my dad yg cerewet tahap dewa tuh..

The lauk we chose were ayam goreng berempah, daging rendang tok, sayur dalca, acar buah-buahan, isi ikan masak kerabu mangga..tropical fruits and air sirap limau with teh tarik.

Until last week I was pretty sure who will do my baju for my wedding..that is for nikah,reception and bertandang.

Some of you know that Unaisah Azlan will be the one for my nikah..Insyallah its for sure..not just loving her talent..but her PR..Masyallah..superb..will not dissapoint u..and humble sgt2..I am even thinking to have her for my bertandang also..tapi x tau lg die blh buat ke x considering her busy schedule and initially I told her to do my nikah dress only..lets see if luck is on my side..

For my reception actually i dah finalize kan who that 'X' designer..but....sgt2 sukakan sume rekaan die..and price consider still ok lg..kalau i sebut nama die sini msti confirm sume kenal because di kalangan blogger dah ramai amek die ni.tapiii...ade prob sket..

Last week I had my company dinner at MO..Siyes xtau nk pakai ape..dah tema "Red Carpet Affair" pulak dohh..sudahhh..

Serbey punye serbeyy dapatla this idea nk buat dress..sumpah this is my 1st time nak buat dress sndiri nih..hahahah..

Im not her fan but somehow I think she has a good sense of fashion and she's very chick..

So inilah inspirasi saya utk dress malam itu...

Hantar pun dekat akak taylor yg dah biase sangat buat my baju kurung..she never do dress before,.but she was so excited to do my baju hahaha..1st trial katenyee..

Overall oklah.,.sesuaila ngn harga dan masa suntuk yg sgt last minit itu..I bought the material from MAYA..the same place I bought my material for engagement..silk chiffon..loving ittt!

Actually i already started asking around..mcm2 la. catering,wedding planner,dress,photographer and videographer pun nak jugakkk.make-up (dah bayo deposit pung) and etc.. Some of them still pending answer and some aku yg still pending buat decision huhuhuhu..

Fuhhhhh..memang sgt penat and pening buat preparation kawen but i tell u..at the same time its damn fun..Tapi I wish I didnt hv much time for the preparation tau.Why? because the more time u hv,the more things u nak letak kt weddingg u..aduhhhhhhh..

Like last weekend I had a get-together with my long-time bff yg baru balik bcuti kejap kt Msia ni and we talked a bit about wedding preparation ni,she said mcm die dulu ade 3 bulan je before nak kwen utk buat preparation..Can u imagine?? But actually sbrnye mmg nampak mcm suntuk tp ok je lagi senang tak pyh pikir itu ini hamek je ape yg ade. Jadi jugak..Kawen je..Kekal sampai sekarang.. Alhamdulillah

Ni haaaa back to my story,nampaknyeee banyak keje lg nih..I've done la my research gak psl2 wedding ni..Sebenarnye berblogging dan jugak berinternet ni x dinafikan has helped me a LOT of giving me the infos and ideas on how to prepare for ur wedding. Especially for B2B yg busy bekerja and takde mase sgt nk kluar kesane kemari nak menanya2 vendor itu vendor ini kan..Dengan kuasa klik di hujung jari ni is such a convenience to me.

Angan2 nye tinggi melangit,itu nak,ini mau..tp kene ingat kudrat tu sampai mane..i always remind myself about this..Biarla majlis tu still nampak cantik dan sedap mata memandang tp at the same time xnk membazir..Yelah,kalau ikutkan semua nak pakai the best..wedding planner nak pakai si polan tulah,baju nak designer inilah,venue nak kt tempat grandla..tp to me..still..kalau betul2 mampu ape salahnye kan..once in a lifetime kan? It depends really..to individu..masing2 punye citarasa..masing2 punye bajet..Kalau takde tu pandai2 ko la dok diam2 kt situ hamek je yg mane mampu.

One thing lg another trend aku tgk is DIY wedding..Sumpah kalau aku ni jenis yg ade masa mmg nak jugak buat semua sndiri..Pelamin,hantaran,decoration.doorgift,kad kawen..errr cume baju and catering tu tak la kot sampai nk buat sndiri kan..hahah..mau haru biru hidup dibuatnyeee..its just to me it will be more meaningful and sweet kan..yela dari air tangan sendiri..But..i know that i wont hv the time..so lupekan.

I realize mmg sometimes kami bergaduh bende2 yg tah hape2..such simple,kecik,small,stupid punye issue pun blh bw gaduh..especially ehem-ehem truly yours ni mmg sngt sensitip orgnye.Mengalahkan budak umur 5 tahun,atau perempuan br lepas bsalin (eh ape kene mngena daaa).I bet the same goes to most of couples out there..kan kan ???

I donno about u girls put there..but selain sensitip..im a VERY STUBBORN woman..keras hati mengalahkan batu..sanggup merajuk berminggu-minggu..ye saya mengaku..terukkan saye???Ntah mcmane si tunang boleh tahan dan sanggup pulak tunang ngn gwe ini.HAHAHAHHA..Takpela dah jodoh nk buat cmne kan?hihihi

But percayala,even tho aku asyik marah2..aku sbnrnye sayang bangat sama die tau..mungkin kene belaja skit cara nk kurangkan merajuk and marah2..eh bukan mungkin...MESTI kurangkan..kalau tak alamat x sempat la family aku nk merasa makan nasi minyak akuuuu..

Lagipun we come from such a longggggg road to be where we are today...So no that easy to let this relationship slip away just like that.Its not everyday kan u jumpe someone that u can live with,talk to,ade chemistry bile bersama..boleh talk about almost everything..someone yg u rasa u can and want to spend the rest of your life with..susah senang bersama.

What I heard is this guy used to work in the States before and was involved as one of the decorator for Brad Pitt & Jennifer Aniston's wedding..how cool is that!????

Tentukan tema,warna majlis
Kursus kahwin!
Appoint a photographer and videographer.
Decide on entertainment and place a deposit on your selected DJ, entertainer or band.

6 - 8 months before

Baju aku dan dia
Wedding planner dah kene pilih (nak pilih asing2 vendor utk khemah,pelamin,decorations,gubahan hantaran pun kene decide dah)
Set aside blocks of hotel rooms for out-of-town guests
Confirm the guest lists.
Start working on your wedding invitation card designs.
Finalize details with the venue.
Select wedding rings.
Book make up artist

4 - 5 months before

Have a trial before selecting make-up artist.

I am so excited to get married!!!!!

Despite of everything that's going on right now..(too personal to reveal here) Alhamdullillah God still with me giving me strength and patience to go thru that.. And also my fiancee for his kindness and time he spent on me.. I'm soooo blessed.

And also today got the best news..I have been confirmed on my position and got increment!!yahooo!!!..Alhamdullilah segala yang berlaku ade hikmahnye.

Okeh! Next entry is gonna be my wedding checklist..havent come out with one yet..

Merry Christmas,New Year..nak recap peristiwa 2010 pun x terbuat lagi nih..Eh itu harus!So many things happened in 2010.Tahun yang sangat bermakna untuk saye yeeee..So many wonderful and not-so wonderful pun ade gak. X sabar plak rasenye nk ber-blog tentang itu.

Just a short review this time.

So last Monday I went..thank god I have Kim who's willingly to accompany me..After work terus cabut gi KLCC..Jalan punyelah jem nak ^&**&%$&..

Dari jauh dah nampak entrance Butik Anya Hindmarch KLCC sangatla meriahh..

They had such a great offer for those who came that day.

Additional 10% for all item and rebate of RM200!!Such a steal!!!!

Tapi too bad dah mcm x bnyak koleksi menarik yang tinggal..ecehh mcm la nk beli pun kan..

As usual yg menarik ialah the FOOD of course..they did serve sushi (my fabourite!),udon,velvet vake,lemon cheese cake,nasi lemak 50 sen (hehehe anda ingat skrip tu?),spagetti,and bnyak lagilah x ingat semue.Semuanye sedap gile especially the nasi lemak and the spagetti..Sushi pun sedap jugak hehehe.

Banyak kan makanan dorang serve.sesuaila ngn perut saya yg lapar tatkala baru blik keje

Majlis Nikah SM Nasarudin dan Marion Counter..

Sangat terkezut bukan?? Macam tibe2 je..

I also didnt know until recently saje je browse the internet psl wedding and stuff..tibe2 kluar berita dorang ni bercinta and dah nk kawen..Wahhhh...harusla kongsi kannn..

Their ceremony was held excusively secara "tertutup" dan majlis bersanding bakal berlangsung die Mandarion Oriental Grand Ballroom pada malam ni rasenye..

Yang kelessnyeee....Bagi acara akad nikah, Marion Caunter di’khabarkan memakai persalinan santun rekaan pereka fesyen terkenal, Rizalman Ibrahim (itu ok lg), manakala Vera Wang menjadi pilihan Marion Caunter ketika acara resepsi berlangsung nanti.Beberapa tetamu tertentu juga akan diterbangkan ke Kepulauan Maldives utk satu lg majlis...Waaaahhh..Makan hati lagiiiiiiiii dek oiiiii..Tapi biasela,dah name pun kawen ngn jutawan.

Tapi yg lawaknye,if u google nama "Marion Counter" a few days ago,and click to Wikipedia,adela biography si Marion ni,tapi kat bawah sekali dalam artikel tu ade la plak sorang hamba Allah mane yg pegi tambah " Marion Counter is a gold digger"..Can u imagine????Dalam Wikipedia tu beb!Satu dunia boleh baca...

Hahahah gile lawak..sapela yg dengki tu yeee?Well...i was lucky sempat baca because skrg ni dah dipadam ayat tu dari Wikipedia..bikin panasss ajee.

While Im busy preparing...planning and berangan-ing about my wedding..I can still recall some people quoting that the engagement preiod is one of the hardest part where all the bad things is going to come to the relationship.

Is this true?

I have been engaged for more than 1 month+ now and until last week I was so happily engaged until this week came. Something happened and I started to doubt myself about..

EVERYTHING..my own self,him,our relationship..is this a good and the right time to get married??

Can anyone tell if they are really2 ready to read the wedding vow and devote your self and your life to someone for the rest of their life(InsyaAllah)?

I never had a real relationship before...I never thought I would have one until I met him..But what if he's not the one?what if he turned out to be the guy that can never understands u?What if both of u keep having different opinions? Knowing myself as a VERY stubborn and KERAS hati so I know it s gonna cause us trouble.

But love is all about accepting and forgiving right?Or not right?

Uhhhhh..right now kalau ikutkan hati mcam-macam dah bisikan syaitan masuk dalam telinga ni..nak jadi solo blk la...nk tangguh weddingla..nak pg oversea la..aduhhh

I LOVE IT!

Im not a fan of Elyana tho but one I must admit...she looked so gorgeous! Especially during her solemnization..the make-ups...awwwwwwww...kak Sai betul2 transformed her lah. Tak sangka die ni yang dulu nampak macam budak2 and nyanyi tak suka pakai kasut turned out to be sooooo pretty on her BIG day..

Hmm...anyway just enjoy all the pics lah..maleh dah den nak cakap apo lg eh.

My Engagement Dress (Part 2-From Unaisah to Kak Ina)

I love CHIFFON. So much that every now and then I started to buy chiffon only for my baju kurung..hihihihi.To me this material has it's own characteristic that can be worn with or without other accessories (lace,bead,embroidery..u name it lah).But of course it will look more beautiful with the touch of those accessories. That's why for my engagement I opted for CHIFFON...

So here the story goes..

So what makes me chose Kak Ina?(Just in case if you were wondering) her work is not that cheap also u know. But I saw a few of my frens did their baju with her when she was still with Dzull de Classique and I instantly felt in love. She is famous for her beadings (manik,labuci,jemeki bagai lah) Some said Dzull de Classique is not the same anymore after she left. I dont knowla whether it's true or not..only base on what people say..so I thought I wanted to try her out.

She runs her own boutique Dzihni in Bangi, which is quiet far from my house. So I decided to buy my material first and then show it to her. I remember Unaisah once told me Harisons have a type of chiffon which is cheap but still good quality. Went i went there,I found the chiffon that she was talking about..but unfortunately there were not so many colors to choose from. Lagi-lagi I myself was not very sure what type of pink I wanted. Soft Pink?Dusty Pink?Light Pink?Mauve?Dirty Pink?

I had a hard time sebenarnye to determine which one I want and which want is SUITABLE with my skin. That's the most important one. Pilih punya pilih I ended up buying this colour:

Sangat tak cantik kan? Even Kak Ina sendiri cakap tak cantik..hahahhaa

Menyesal yang teramat sangat on the other day I went to Jalan TAR and cari again.. This time I spend more time looking and browsing and scouting for the right one. Kesian Mr NAZ ikut aje..huhu.. so the search ended at MAYA Gallery. There's a lot of colors to choose from. Macam-macam PINK adaaa. Akhirnye berjumpalah dengan 2 kaler yg dah dishortliskan. One is dark pink and 1 more is a bit pale mcm mauve sket.. due2 cantik tak tau nak buat pilihan. So I took both colors out and letak atas meja. Sabo je SA tu layan aku.wahahahah. Mr NAZ pun pening.

But kebetulan in the kedai ade sorang designer (Masyallah I swear I knew him from some where) tapi sumpah tak ingat nama die.. ntah ke Michael Ong, Bill Keith or sape tah..but he looked so familiar.

The SA asked him which one is right for me. Instantly he said the dark pink, because it will enhance my skin color he said...He also said that the other color is sweet but at night it will become pale. So at the moment I know which one to choose. Since the other color is also nice i bought it also but its for my veil. That's why if you perasan my baju and my veil are from different color but its not that noticeable.

So setel bab kain. Nak hantar plak ke Butik Dzihni ke Bangi,blh tahan jauhnye campur sesat2 lagi. She is so soft spoken orangnya when we arrived. She is so experienced and tahu ape yg kite nak. Tak abis cakap lg die dah tau. But mind u, if u are the kind yang tahu ape u nak and susah nk terima pendapat orang so u will face a bit problem because Kak Ina tends to do it "her own way" mcm part lengan actually die strongly suggest mcm ni, but i nak mcm tu..kain nak mcm ni..die nak buat mcm tu..so u kene strong sket la..

The problem with me is..I have a LOT of inspirations..

I really love to have some laces patched on my baju so Kak Ina suggested border lace and I agreed. After design dah confirm, she said she would took a month to do it. So oklah.

Aku pun balik umah dengan suka hatinye.

A month passed by..

My baju tak siap lagi..Aku dah risauuuuuuuuuuuuu..my event is on the 5th Of Nov but 30 Oct baju pun x siap lg..aduhhh..i need at lest a few days more to alter sini sane kan..Ini bab aku paling takut sekali,kalau baju siap lambat pastu ade yg x kene nak alter x sempat.

Akhirnye 1hb Nov siap jugak baju tu. Hari Isnin. Satu problem plak dari tempat keje nak meredah jem semua nk ke Bangi..memang dugaan jugakla. Sampai dalam pukul 8 malam lebih jugakla. Kesian kak Ina tunggu dgn anak die.

Dari luar I can see my baju alreaady..berdebar gile ok! When I tried it...oopsssss..ketat kau! especially bab lengan..senteng plak tuh..xkan aku dah gain weight kot?Harusla alter kannnn..malangnye 2 kali alter still ketat..so I have to bear with it. dah start tensen dah mase tuh.. Aku beli kain sampai 6 meter sepatutnye its MORE than enough utk badan aku yang kecik ni.Takkan xde bajet lebih sket kot just in case kene alter kan? Time tu nasib baikla ada Mr NAZ yang asyik tried to calm me down and pujuk me saying that dari pandangan mata die,nampak takdela ketat sgt,in fact ok je. I was so menggelabah orediiii.

Lagi satu bab kain die. Aku takdela plak kata kene buat ape2 beading kt bahagian bawah..Die buat jugakk..And the lace part on my hem,lengan and leher is actually cantik but mcm terover sket kekerawangannya.

So after dah discuss and made payment,we all pun balik. To conclude,ade few things nak share kt sinila:

Tak puas hati sgt sebab lengan ketat dan senteng
Kain supposedly to be simple flowy je tapi dah jadi bermanik2 plak..so extra charge kat situ.
I specifically told her not to letak shoulder pad or kalau nk letakpun,letak yg NIPISSSS je.Tapi in the end die letak gak.Tebal plak tu.

So far itu ajela,tp overall dalam 70% la satisfied sbb sume kate cantik!hihihihi..Tapi kan...my total cost of baju actually is MORE that if I did with Unaisah. Why? (By the way Unaisah quoted around RM6xx-RM7xx but my baju now cost me RM8xx..

I used more expensive chiffon material than the one Unaisah initially suggested.
The border lace Kak Ina bought for me is more expensive.
Kak Ina charged for my veil and Unaisah doesn't.

Overall,eventho I was kinda puas hati with Kak Ina I would still hope that I did my baju with Unaisah instead. I dont know why but I know that she can pull it off! But its ok.Alhamdulillah la kan. Nothing bad happened. There's always another time.

Indeed...

For my wedding I already confirmed to do my baju nikah with Unaisah.YESSSS!!!Finally. Despite of her busy schedule,she still able to do my baju.Yahoooooo..Saya berbunga keriangan skrg.

Of My Engagement Dress (Part 1)

Hmmm..where to start ek?

Its really hard u know if u dont hv initial or rough idea of how u want your dress to be..

Remember this post? Actually this my inspiration..This is the pic that I showed to my designer-tak-jadik-for-baju-tunang ..Unaisah Azlan. She's the nicest I tell u! So kind she even told me where to get cheap but nice chiffon.

We were half way of discussing my engagement dress until she even drew me 2 sketches of my dress:

Errr..I dont know if its ok to show this sketches because I didnt end up doing my baju with her,if its not proper,some one pls tell me yaaa..

At first I told her that I want a simple baju kurung moden with laces and drapes (just like my inspirational dress)..hahaha DRAPES?I cant even imagine how la baju kurung moden nak letak drapes..but the sketches turn out to be without the drapes because I wasn't creative enough to tell her how i want the drapes to be on my dress. So..sketch itu pun terhasil lah. The pic of the lace is actually the one that she would use if I didnt opt for border lace.

Both sketches similiar design cuma lace lain and skirt slightly different. left skirt, is a gored mermaid skirt (potong panel) while right skirt straight full skirt with a simple drape.

I told her my budget and she was so kind enough to calculate the total cost including the kain and where to get it at a cheap price. The sketch no 1 cost a bit more that no 2 because it's using border lace around 5' kalau tak silap. Yg no 2 is using the lace like in this picture:

I just heart them both.To me sesuai sangat utk baju tunang. Boleh pakai banyak kali.

The discussion took place in August and we stopped for a while since masing2 busy and tlupa sekejap psl baju ni. Until one fine day in October I remembered and made a tough decision to change my designer since its a bit costly to do it with Unaisah eventho I love her design (and her!), her PR, her professionalism and all the review i've read about her is just so GOOD. Nothing bad at all.

Seeing all the dress she made in her blog just made me to want her more.. But unfortunately I decided with a very heavy heart to change from Unaisah to Kak Ina. I even text Unaisah to say Im sorry that couldnt make it and why cant i..To my suprised she was so kind to still reply me (after all the energy,time and idea that she has invested in me..heheh) and wish me the best. I then promised to have her for my nikah (InsyaAllah) to do my dress instead (and yap...I will). For those who still tercari-cari sape nak jadi designer for your hari bahagia,please consider her. But dengar2 she's already fully booked sampai Nov'11..fuhhh laku mcm goreng pisang panas! Well,but if u are really keen of having her,try to ask first,maybe who knows it might be your luck that she can still slot u in!

So berakhirlah cerita with Unaisah and bermula lah kisah dgn Kak Ina (previously from Dzull de Classique)

Another preparation to think of..

My wedding of course..

But kenangan di hari pertunangan masih segar dalam kepala ni..Now lets talk about the turn off point during my engagement day.Supaya jadi pengajaran buat diri ini dan juga semua untuk kalau boleh tidak mengulanginya lagi. Ini tidak bmaksud buruk atau negatif cuma untuk menjadi peringatan agar majlis seterusnya bole menjadi lebih baik dan cemerlang,gemilang dan terbilang!

Walaupun anda rasa macam sempat je kalau bersiap lambat sedikit..DON'T! Silalah jadi particular bila bab-bab masa ni. Pastikan bila MUA dah sampai,semua dah ready and die tinggal nak mekap je. Like in my case,bole plak baru nak mandi and gosok baju lagi..apelaaa..Rancang masa anda.

Masa ni dah sangat kesuntukan masa yee Sila perhatikan muka aku yg cuak lg cemas itu.

Point No 2
Jemputan. Actually I already hand this over to my parents. Ada sebabnye kenapa I berkeras nak amek caterer supaya my mum tak payah susah-susah kat dapur so die boleh concentrate dekat tetamu aje. But on the day itself,there was a little bit kelam-kabut. Eventho dah order desert dgn caterer,my mum still order a few puddingla,kek la,and when the jemputan sampai ( there were around 60++ yg dtg from his side siap naik bas bagai) my mum was still in the kitchen cutting those deserts..So terpinga-pinga la tetamu tak sure nak masuk ke tak. Nasib baik ada jiran yang sudi menjadi bidan terjun. Thanks to Datin Ida sbb volunteerkan diri,alamat kalau tak..memang sampai bile tetamu kat luar pun x tau. Next time for future event,dah dekat-dekat dah tau orang nak datang,silala standby depan umah untuk menyambut.Yela orang datang dari jauh kan..mestila nak kene sambut,kang rasa macam tak proper pulak.So rancang layanan untuk tetamu anda.

Point No 3
My doorgift. Actually I only wanted those 3 mini choc moist muffins to be the only item in the box. But I silap bajet and the mini muffin turned out to be really mini that the box mcm empty je. So the night before me and my mum went out to Tesco beli lagi jajan-jajan or cikedis and some jellies utk penuhkan the box. Nasib baik it turned out ok,I guess. And the distribution of the doorgift pun mcm sangat last minit. I trusted my sisters to handle them. But I guess they were also busy melayan tetamu yg dtg that they almost forgot to give my doorgift away. I was not sure but even my fiance said at first doorgift tu tak berusik pun. But its ok,last-last abis jugak semua org kebas bende tu.My sis pun dah penat the night before tido sampai lewat pagi nak siapkan my doorgift. Lagi satu nasihat,kalau plan nak buat sndiri doorgift,kalau boleh letak something yg tahan lama so we can prepare it much earlier. I knew this already but I was so berkeras nak jugak2 letak something yg comel2 mcm cupcake ke,macaroon ke.. so 1 day before event je baru boleh buat.So rancang doorgift anda dengan lebih bijak.

Point No 4
My E-Dress. Yes I love it,but actually adela yang cacat sikit sebenarnya,but its just a minor one. Kalau tak tengok dekat-dekat tak nampak pun kot (kata my fiance laa). Will tell more about it in my next post pasal E-Dress.

My hairdo. Actually I dont really like my rambut that night. And my mum hates it too. But dont get me wrong,not blaming my MUA cik Has. Actually die dah proposekan buat style lain tapi aku yg berkeras jugak nak design ala-ala Dr Harlina la konon sedangkan tak sedar muka tu dahla bersegi lagi berdahi jendol..uuhhuhuh..For your information,its really hard to find style yg sesuai with my face ni. I wish I would have followed my MUA's advice instead. Tapi takpela,sebab evento I hate it,tapi ramai yg kata ok je..ntahla..masing2kan.

Konon-konon masa ni confident la kan rambut tu sesuai sgt dengan muka awak tuh!

I Missed "Peter Pan The Musical"?

Yap. I did..

So sad. I was looking forward for it actually. Well the story is like this,I registered myself with The Star to be one of the lucky ones to get myself a seat for the Grand Premiere for the show. Didnt really put too much hope tho..since I know there must be A LOT that were trying their luck.

A week later, I had a miscalled when I was not around my hp and called the number back and it turned out that it was from The Star Publication. Too bad it went to the operator so couldnt track who did really give me a call,the operator said I just had to wait for that person to call me back.At that time I was already thinking about the show but,how can you be 100% sure right? Well, thinking that they might call back so I decided to just wait.

The next day the same thing happened. I was not around. Got the same miscall. Felt so frustrated. Rasa bodoh sangat diri ini kenapala tak pegang je hp tu kemana2 pun pergi kan? Still,I just let it go hoping they will still call again.

Yesterday,when I was in Low Yatt looking for some IT and digital stuff,I got this call from a sweet lady saying "Hi Noordalila, so are you coming today for the Peter Pan The Musical"?..

I was like...&*#%$@$#%$R^^*........was i even selected?She mistakenly thought she already emailed me. NOOOOOO....I never received any email from them...waaaaaaaaaa..

Its not just the Grand Premiere,it was for the "Behind The Scene" part and get to mingle with all the cast and production. OH maN!!!!!

Well.its ok.This is what they say.. tidak ada rezeki.

She mentioned I can still go for the Grand Premiere event.Well...its better than nothing aite?

So now Im waiting for confirmation because those who are selected for "Behind the scene" will be guaranteed a seat for the Grand Premiere.Hopefully this time she will not forget to email me.

Well.. I guess I will start with Alhamdullillah again..for letting my engagement ceremony to be held smoothly..I cant really believe now I am someone's fiancee..Never thot it can be this soon..hmmm mungkin its about time i guess..

As mentioned in earlier post, my theme was pink (any pink you can think of) and white..I was sooooo excited and happy that almost all my girlfrens turned up wearing pink..LOVE you all so much..

The event started around 8.30pm where the guy's side were from Subang right after Maghrib. One thing was I was not really happy of was that I wasnt aware that they already arrived at my house and I was still not ready (my make and my hair still not done!)Luckily I have all my gf who memang duduk dalam bilik all the time to see me getting done so they helped me here and there so I managed to siap just after my aunty called my name to go down.

Actually my mistake jugak because my MA already arrived early but I was still so busy baru nak mandi la, gosok baju la. Natijahnye,kami siap agak lambat dari waktu yg ditetapkan. Anyhow,oklah jgak sempat siap.

Wearing my E-Dress I couldnt describe my feeling..love it so much!Actually previously I wanted Unaisah to do my E-dress but due to some avoidable reason I opted for Kak Ina from Dzihni. People said she is Dzulfadzli 's(the famous make up artist yg buat rancangan Tangkap Muat dengan Rizalman tuh) wife..I guess its true kot cause I takdela plak nk tnye Kak Ina tu kan..

My make up was done by Has Yusof which is actually my ex-coursemate and now doing freelance make up artist..for amature level I guess she is good and very easy to work with..and somehow managed to 'transform" my face jugakla..just look at the photos and u guys be the judge..

My pelamin is actually a mixture of DIY + Kerja Kahwin. Most of the props are from her..She did a wonderful job of mixing the right colour for the pelamin flowers and my handbouquet to match my theme and E-dress..Love her.Will probably work with her again next time..

My photographer of the night was hired by the guy's side. Thanks to my future sis in law for bringing him in..Mr Faiz the cool guy is from shutterpix really did a great job..being very particular and I love most of his shots. Its just that I wish he would have taken more pics on the decorations and the canopy.

My transparent canopy is from Accer Event. Mr Jas was soo nice to give me alot of discount..heheh..and sanggup layan I yg banyak tanye and karenah ni. Service die pun cepat and pantas je. And also at VERY reasonable price. I recommend them..

Next is my doorgift which previously I thought of not having but ntah macamne last minute macam nak jgak ade sebagai pelengkap majlis. They are from Ole-ole Manis and Nad is such a nice lady yang rajin layan I nak itu nak ini..and ikut my bajet. Bagi diskaun jugak..heheh..And the 3 mini choc moist muffin were delicious yummy yaaah!Pic down below you will notice my boxes are sticker with label which is DIY saying -The Engagement of Zharif & Dila 5 Nov 2010.

For hantaran to guy side I did order 5 cute mini fondant cake from Kak Arbee. She's so nice also give me discount and managed to customize the cake according to the design I want.Would love to work with her again..

For decoration, I rent such a beautiful butterfly lantern sbg penyeri meja makan instead of flower centrepieces,those are from Sue (sueannesunshine@blogspot.com)..She and her sis, Liyana were sooo nice and kind la to layan me and tunggu I pulangkan balik lantern tu lambat sebab masing-masing sibuk..hihi..sorry yaaa..candles from IKEA tu I pasang and letak dalam butterfly lantern and also keliling pagar rumah made the look around my house soooooo romantic..suke sgt..

Sekarang rase lega sgt everything that setel cume tinggal nk prepare utk ...ape lagi..kawenla hehe..I had such a lovely ceremony that I wish I can repeat that again..

Thanks to all my frens who made it that night and for those who did not,well maybe takde rezeki kite nk jumpe. To my family member also who helped a lot and sanggup tak tido to help me siapkan all the doorgifts..heheh...I think that would wrap up my engagement details..so far..Im thankful that everything went as planned. I know all the penat-lelah, months of researching and homework is worth it. If only I can,how I wish I can turn back time and look back at my own ceremony..it is one of the most beautiful thing that happened in my life..Appreciate it so much..

Detik Itu...

While waiting for the official photographer to deliver his work, I would love to recap some of the things during my engagement day.

It was a pink & white theme..Just the way I want it. Glad that all my frens wore the same (or pretty much) based on the theme.Most of the arrangements was the way I want it. I know sometimes i was being sooooooooo picky and choosy when it comes to the preparation. I want it to be done eactly what I had in my head (hehehe jahatkan?).So ntah dan berapa kali asyik perang je ngn my mum about it..thank god Alhamdulillah at last she understand yang anak die ni memang keras kepala. What to do..

All the elements were there, managed to get the mini dais, pink theme, event-at night,the doorgifts, transparent canopy, sweet handbouquet, nice food by the caterer, fairies lights, jurumekap,my dearest gf,my beloved family members..

I want to write the synopsis of my engagement detail but lets wait for the photos first..mcm x syok pulak bercerita tp xde gamba kan?

I hope I can finish my engagement post quickly so that I can bayar hutang post Hong Kong plak..hihihi..
